PRP treatment uses the patient’s own blood, drawn and processed in a centrifuge, to proliferate enriched, reparative cells and growth factors. Injected into the scalp, this procedure stimulates natural hair growth.

In this procedure, hair is removed from an area with good, dense growth and
transplanted to the required area. A scar does result where the hair was
removed, but can usually be covered by the patient’s own hair. The recovery
period for strip harvesting is about two weeks and a follow-up visit to the doctor
may be required to remove stitches/staples, or suturing can also be performed.

Although a time-consuming procedure, often requiring more than one session,
FUE removes hairs from more than one area, which are then punctured with a
micro-surgical needle into the target area. This procedure yields much more
natural results, requires less recovery time and scars are minimal.

Hair Weaving adds hair to cover bald spots, or to thicken the appearance of
one’s own natural hair. This process does not provide a permanent solution for
balding, since no bulb is added and the hair woven in does not grow. Therefore,
every few months, a visit to a qualified hair stylist will be required, to ensure the
hair woven does not break or fall off, as it loosens with natural hair growth.

Laser Hair Removal, one of the most effective methods available, can be used to
eliminate dark, coarse hair from most parts of the body, without damaging the
surrounding skin. Targeting the roots, hair loss is generally permanent after just a
few sessions. All other methods of hair removal, such as plucking and waxing,
should be avoided for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment.

A great option for people in their 30s-50s, provided the skin sagging is not too
severe, the Thread Lift causes no visible scars, and recovery time is only a few
days. Techniques vary, dependent upon what is best suited to the patient.
Changes are subtle and not permanent, yet help to enhance and highlight
features previously affected by aging. Treatment needs to be repeated after one
to two years, and is often combined with fillers, fat injections, botox or laser

Dysport is injected to smoothen the appearance of moderate to severe frown
lines between the eyebrows. Wrinkles are minimized, not the expressiveness of
the face, which remains the same, since untreated muscles are still able to work
normally. Dysport effects are not permanent, meaning repeat treatments are
required to maintain the results.

Botox (Botulinum Toxin) injections are used to cause temporary muscle
paralysis. Cosmetic aesthetic application serves to minimize the appearance of
wrinkles and age lines. Dermal Fillers are also injected into the skin to help fill in
wrinkles or frown lines, and restore a smoother appearance. Often used in
conjunction, botox and filler effects are not permanent, requiring repeat
procedures to maintain the effect.

PRP, a treatment long used to combat sports injuries, is now successfully used
as a face treatment, which results in glowing, tighter skin. As this is an organic
treatment using one’s own blood, there are practically no side effects, and PRP
also helps to treat dark circles, sun damage, wrinkles and scars.

Ulthera is a type of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) device. FDA
approved, it is a non-invasive, non-surgical facial lifting treatment, which releases
concentrated ultrasound energy to target problematic areas. Skin is tightened
and lifted, as HIFU stimulates cells, encouraging collagen production and tissue
repair. The following results can be achieved for the face:
 Fine line and wrinkle reduction
 Accentuation of the jawline
 Chin lifting
 Eyebrow lifting
 Improvement of sagging skin (cheeks, eyelids and around the mouth)
 Facial sculpting
No advance preparation is required and there is no downtime post treatment.
However, sun protection and avoiding direct sunlight are important for at least a
few days after the procedure.

Rhinoplasty, commonly known as a ‘nose job’, enhances facial harmony, by
adjusting the proportions of the nose. This procedure makes structural
corrections to the nose, allowing normal functioning and breathing.

The procedures used for Breast Lifts depend upon the desired result:
 Crescent Lift
More commonly used in cases of little sagging, this technique is often
combined with breast augmentation and involves a small incision made
along the outline of the top half of the areola, for minimal scarring.
 Donut Lift
Performed for mild sagging cases, where augmentation is combined with
lifting, the size of the areola can also be adjusted. However, scarring will
be visible, to varying degrees, around the outline of the areola.
 Lollipop Lift
This breast lift technique reshapes the entire breast and removes excess
skin. The name ‘lollipop lift’ is taken from the shape of the scar, which can
quite easily be hidden.
 Anchor Lift
Recommended to correct considerable sagging and breast reduction,
more visible scarring occurs with this option, which becomes significantly
less noticeable over time, provided proper care is taken and healing
advice is followed.

Breast Reduction involves the removal of excess fat tissue and skin to achieve
the desired breast size or a size more proportionate to the body. This procedure
can be performed for both medical and cosmetic reasons.

Breast Augmentation, commonly termed ‘boob job’, is the enlargement of the
breasts, with implants or by fat graft. Surgical implants inserted are either filled

with saline solution or silicone gel, while the fat graft procedure removes fat from
another part of the body, which is then processed for use in the breast area.

Liposuction, or ‘lipo’, is the removal of excess fat from areas of the body, such as hips, belly, thighs or buttocks, to reduce size, reshape and improve body contours. Viability of patients and achievable results from liposuction depend on multiple factors, which must be discussed with the physician ahead of the procedure. There are a number of different liposuction techniques available, and downtime and recovery varies. Compression garments for the target areas are usually worn for at least 4-6 weeks after the procedure.

Thermage uses radiofrequency energy, generating heat and penetrating the skin surface, to stimulate collagen production. Skin is tightened and firmed, helping to combat the visible signs of aging.

Abdominoplasty, or the ‘Tummy Tuck’, is a cosmetic surgical procedure, intended to firm up and flatten the abdomen, by removing excess skin and fat. This type of surgery is appropriate for individuals who have major skin sagging, as a result of dramatic weight loss or pregnancy.
